after seven months in england, i miss target.
what, you ask? not driving on the right, or large SUVs, or american accents? not steakhouses, 24-hour drive throughs, coffee stands, or power outlets in the bathroom? okay, i admit it, i miss some of those too. but near the top of my list of wishes for egham is a target store.
england has great high-end department store shopping with heals, liberty, purves & purves and harrods. we have habitat, a nice pottery barn competitor. and on the walmart end of the spectrum, there are ASDA and other supermarkets. but there's a big hole in the middle, and i think it's a perfect opening for your average american target, complete with good prices, broad selection and late night shopping.
