when you have a baby who's not yet walking, it can be hard to come up with activities that he or she will enjoy. we have quite a few options in our area, but it took my friends and me a long time to find places that we really love to go with our little ones. for locals or visitors to surrey, here are a few favourites:
savill garden: i have a membership to this great botanical garden. the walk is beautiful, and the shop and cafe are spacious enough for a group of pushchairs. maddie really loves this building, for some reason, and likes having her snack here.
odds farm park: we have been here a few times, and madeline enjoys it. they have nice activities, including bottle-feeding of the sheep, and a good selection of animals.
bocketts farm park: this place is interesting--it has an amazing play area with lots of playground sets and trampolines. the animals are slightly less accessible than at odds farm park, but it's still a great afternoon out.
jake's playworld: this softplay area opened recently in bagshot, just down the road from us. it can be very busy and crowded, but the toys and facilities are all really clean.
windsor leisure centre: we went to the pool at this leisure centre quite often during the summer to get out of the heat. it does get crowded, but they have a good family changing area, and a large "leisure pool" that is great fun for children of all ages.
These all sound wonderful! When an we come visit with you??? ;)
