one of the great things about having a child is that you have a legitimate excuse to shop in toy stores. we went to kingston this morning for some shopping and found this fantastic shop with the most amazing selection of kids' crafts. i didn't want to leave, it was so much fun. most of their selection was from the company klutz, which has excellent toys for children. i can tell you that i would have loved their backseat travel activity books and their super scissors book as a kid and wish someone made such fun books for adults.
sadly maddie is still too young for most of this stuff, but that didn't stop me from spending twenty pounds on things for her to grow into.
