bbc has a television programme each year called springwatch, which is shown each weeknight at this time of year. it's a nature programme with a number of secret mini webcams set up around britain that allow you to observe animal habitats. we only recently started watching it because rich's mum came around and didn't want to miss it, and it's fascinating.
unfortunately nature can be quite cruel so it's a little bit sad too. tonight we saw some darling moorhen babies, which were only darling for a few days because they became dinner for a mink.
